Price vs Value – Which is More Important to You?
“I have a pair of shoes for sale – cheap. They are good shoes, nice color, good material.
What??? You say they aren’t your size? You don’t “like” them. What does that have to do with anything? They are cheap”.
Is that how you buy a car, clothes, food, or anything else? Why do you buy travel based on that? You will get cheap with no value.
Are you looking for a cheap cruise?
Let’s look at buying a cruise, for instance. When you are researching the internet for your next cruise vacation, what are you looking for?
- A cheap price?
- A particular cruise line?
- A particular ship that you love?
- A particular destination?
- The dates you can go and who goes at that time?
If you are new to cruising and are picking your trip based on price, you may be in for a huge shock and come home saying “cruising is horrible and I will never cruise again”.
There are lot of “cheap” cruises. As in anything else in life – you want cheap, cheap is what you get. All cruise lines are NOT created equal. It takes an expert to know the price vs. value.
Like this pair of shoes I am trying to sell you, not all ships fit everyone. Each ship has a “personality”. I try to fit the ship, as much as is possible, to the client. No online site can ever do that. There is no emotion in a computer.
What about a cheap hotel?
Not only should cruises be picked by value, but even a hotel, resort, or destination of any kind. There are a lot of ways to see the world, but not all are right for you.
Without a Certified Travel Agent, you are on your own and that can be expensive and uncomfortable.
Working with Cruise & Tour Planners is the only way to insure that, as much as possible, the how and where you are going is best for you. Not Aunt Bessie or neighbor Jim – YOU!! Talk to an expert who lives and breaths in the industry and can give you value for your dollars.
